2009
GCSOL launched the 1st generation of the CIGS solar cell pilot line through self-development.
2013
GCSOL launched the 2nd generation of the G1 size CIGS solar cell mass production line through self-development.
2015
In response to the drastic decline in demand and price for CIGS solar panels in the global market, GCSOL underwent restructuring.
2016
GCSOL announced a new business service that utilizes vacuum coating for transparent conductive films, anti-reflection films, anti-static films, etc., to fulfill customers in the optoelectronic or biomedical fields. The customers have verified the effectiveness of using our self-developed PECVD transparent protective technology for their products.
2017
GCSOL announced the thin-film coating services for aluminum, copper, titanium, tin, indium, and other metal films in 200mm/300mm semiconductor packages. GCSOL has obtained the ISO9001-2015 quality certification.
2019
GCSOL introduced new reactive sputter technology for high-end precision optical coating in narrow-band filters, anti-reflection films, broadband filters, etc.
2020
GCSOL announced high-end optical filter design and coating services for image sensor applications. Customers verified ultra-black film with ultra-low reflectivity on sever kinds of flexible films for flare reduction.
2021
Customer products have verified the GCSOL's high-reliability aluminum coating on 200mm/300mm wafers. GCSOL announced low particle contamination of optical filter design and coating services for 200mm/300mm glass wafers.
2022
GCSOL has obtained the ISO13485 quality certification.
